Seeking Justice

I had occasion to visit a certain Miami Judge's Courtroom on several occasions of late. On the wall behind her was an Inscription that has inspired me on various fronts over the past year and a half. The words "We Who Labour Here Seek Only The Truth" have rang in my mind.

Without going into details about why I am tuned into this Judge's Court, let's just say that I am on the trail of Justice regardless of whether I have personal reasons. Obviously I would not approach this topic from 'out of the blue' but I do it is relevant to my day to day experience as a just plain citizen.

The night of 4/5/05 I was not expecting to interact with 'Law Enforcement Officers'. I was confronted with a situation whereby not only was my son being attacked by a dog in a place of residence, but efforts were being made to prevent me (the Parent) from knowing about it. Needless to say, I was absolutely livid when I found out. Long story short, when the Police arrived on the scene I was pretty wound up.

Bottom Line: I didn't realize that I was in "Interrogative Custody" and when I walked the wrong direction, I wound up with Felony Charges of Battery on LEO and Resisting Arrest With Vioence... Charges that were entirely uncalled for. However, I apparently acted in an arrogant manner that made these LEOs feel they were justified in their Charges.
